The problem with being a sneakerhead is that it’s never easy to choose one pair for a weekend away. I take big suitcases for short trips and fill them with sneakers because, lets be honest, you never know what the weather is going to be like or where your mood will take you. The next problem you have is that your kicks will get squashed when squeezed next to the necessary laptop and toiletries – if you’re taking those rare deadstocks then this is less than ideal.
In comes Hex; the company that specialises in bags and luggage for those who like to have footwear choices when the travel. Such a simple concept, yet their Camo Duffle Sneaker Bag really hits the mark. There’s a tonne of compartments for travel needs, like iPads, phones and Laptops with two large sneaker compartments at either end. I put some quite chunky sneakers in to test the sizing and had no problems at all.
The design is stylish; I went for a digital/camo looking pattern which really stands out (ironically), especially with some nice yellow flashes around the zip details. The bag comes with a shoulder strap as well as the standard duffle handles making it easy to carry. Dimensions can be found on their website but the bag is fairly rigid and large, so be sure to check you’re ok before flying somewhere. If you’re in the market for something different like me then I’d recommend Hex for sure.
