I’ve been on the hunt for some new t-shirt brands which fit my style and look and came across Les Benjamins. This brand has been developed by a designer called Bunyamin Aydin and on his website there’s a great quote which says
“Something old. Something true. Something borrowed…All ways new“.
This is a great sentence and is certainly reflected in his choice of designs; mixing iconic celebrities, historic figures and musicians in an almost banksy-esk way. In terms of pieces it seems to be mainly made up of t-shirts, hoodies and jumpers – his new season 2014 is certainly more appealing to me than his other work, I especially like the Steve Job wearing a balaclava design (I’m buying that next month for sure). Anyway I’ve pulled together a few of his pieces below and this is a brand which I think could rise in popularity, especially as they are prominent in some pretty big retailers like Harvy Nichols, Bloomindales and Browns.
