Nike Air Max 270 Hot Punch Review

It’s the start of 2018 and the Nike and adidas wars have already begun. There’s no denying adidas ended 2017 in impressive form releasing 3 Yeezy Boost colourways in 2 months but lets not forget Nike ended on a high with their Nike x Off White Collaboration.

So first to make it’s big release of the year is Nike with its new sneaker; the Nike Air Max 270. So what does it look like? Well for me it sits somewhere in between the successful Vapourmax at the back and the popular Flynit range everything else. What stands out immediately is the size of the air bubble at the back of the shoe, its big and its bold and brightly coloured – there’s no mistaking it’s silhouette.

I went for the Nike Air Max 270 “Hot Punch” colourway which is a very light shade of red or as some like to say, pink. On the day of the initial release there were two other options; black and orange or white and illumines yellow.

The styling looks great and it’s always refreshing when there are new silhouettes released by big brands as it gives you a new dynamic for a look. These are pretty bold to style and look great with jogging bottoms or sweat pants and I think I’ll be mostly wearing them in a relaxed environment or down at the gym.
