I think we can all agree 2015 was definitely Adidas’s year, with a string of sell out successes (Ultra Boost, Yeezy Boosts and Solebox collaborations to name a few) however Nike have been playing catch-up in 2016. After a series of good AF1 releases they’ve moved on to the sneaker, namely the Nike Air Presto’s.
These shoes offer a refreshing look with some unusual materials but I can still see influence from Adidas, especially around the side. I decided to try Nike ID and customise them, I wanted to try and replicate the Yeezy Boost Pirate Blacks, with the black main and grey(ish) laces. The Presto’s cost around £120 in total (from Nike ID), which are obviously much cheaper than a pair of Yeezy’s second hand – the quality and comfort however, comes second to Adidas. These are a great pair of every day shoes and look good with some tracksuit bottoms but they lack the styling of the Adidas equivalent.
I took a comparison photo at the end to show the difference between the Nike Air Presto’s and the Pirate Black Yeezy Boosts.

Nike Air Presto Review
Nice every day pair of sneakers but lack the edge.
