It was only last month when I came across a new brand Off White by designer Virgil Abloh – so I had a look around and bought one of their t-shirts from Farfetch. Before I bought the t-shirt I had some concerns about the sizing, from the photos it looked like an over sized style so I ordered a medium.
The t-shirt arrived nicely packaged (as always – important to have tissue paper wrapping for protection on prints) and I could immediately tell that it was very large. When I laid it out on my bed there were 2 things I immediately noticed; firstly how wide the t-shirt was (I thought it would look too baggy) and secondly what an extremely long tag it had – you can see it in one of the photos below.
Worth noting is that the material is very thick, I’ve seen jumpers/sweaters with much thinner material than this. When I tried it on it fell surprisingly well and looks relatively fitted considering the size. The prints on the front and back are also very thick, this is certainly not a piece you’d wear on a hot sunny day.
Overall I think it looks great, I love the boldness of the design and is a brand I’ll look out for in the future.
I must give a shout out to Holly Tuffin for lending me her superior camera for this shoot – I need to upgrade!

August 18, 2018 9:22 amHi Matt,
I just read two of your Off-White Articles. I really like the brand a lot.
Currently, I am doing an analysis of the price development for a project. It is really difficult to find pricing information from old collections, like your T-Shirt in this article, is.
Kindly, would it be fine for you to tell me how much you paid for the T-Shirt in this Article?
Keep up the great work.
Best,
Chris
