I have to admit I wasn’t that familiar with Pretty Green as a brand but after closer inspection (and research) it’s the brainchild of Liam Gallagher. With that in mind and his Mod-style it’s clear when you look at the clothing range, classic polo shirt colour mixes with nice design features on closer inspection.
The nice folk at Norton Barrie gave me the opportunity to review one of their polo shirts they had in stock. Besides a slight obsession I have with T-shirts i’m also very keen on polo shirts, back in the day being very fond of the simplistic Fred Perry black and yellow design.
The shirt comes well packaged in branded tissue paper (I think it’s important as it protects the material in transit), the quality of the shirt is actually very good, probably a bit lighter than you’d get from a Fred Perry. It fit me very well, I got a medium and I’m a large medium – there’s some really nice details on the collar such as the stripes underneath and the red/white stitching along the edges at the front. I don’t usually wear white but I think with the red and the amount of details on the shirt it makes for a nice addition to my wardrobe – see my photos below:
