With Autumn “supposedly” on its way in the UK I’ve started to look for appropriate pieces to add to my wardrobe for the new season. Besides the obvious designer brands which I always like, I do try and find new and upcoming brands to test out too. My memory escapes me as to how I discovered UK brand Sons Clothing, looking back I think I came across a style shot on Instagram and from there I found their official account.

I looked through their website and saw one particular jumper (priced £60) that I wanted to buy; it was a 100% cotton jumper with black and white panels featuring their logo “SONS” on the front. There were some great photos of their catalog throughout their blog which made the jumper look very cool and modern, in particular I liked the design of the jumper, specifically the way one of the sleeves is a different colour half way down the arm, I’d not seen that style in black and white before.

I ordered a medium and waited for delivery, unfortunately it took about 10 days to arrive which was not great service. In the end I emailed them as I was concerned where my order was, to their credit they replied on the same day apologizing and said they were waiting for a shipment of packaging to arrive before sending my order out. Sure enough the next day my parcel arrived in a shiny silver wrapping, it was nicely packaged and came with a bundle of stickers (see one of the photos below).

The jumper is well made, you can tell by the way the stitching holds the two tones of material together and the logo is made from vinyl which doesn’t look or feel cheap. It fits well too, it’s slightly baggy but I think that’s intended as a over sized fit. Overall very happy with the jumper, you can buy it online here – I shall keep an eye out for some of their next season outfits!

Be sure to check out the end of this post with my new section “Would Look Good With” – to show what this Jumper would look good with!
