Timberlands are something I’ve inadvertently never owned but have always wanted, I even posted an instagram image of the boots I wanted about a year ago (see bottom of the post).
The iconic brand is recognisable by just about everyone, the sand/yellow colour and boot shape stands out in any outfit (intentionally or not). I got mine from Footasylum which are the “Timberland 6 Inch Premium Boot” (retails £169.99) and was advised to purchase a half size larger than I normally wear which is good information for anyone else thinking of treating themselves this Christmas.
On to the boot; these are big, durable, waterproof and heavy boots, designed to be worn in all kinds of situations and last the wear. They look fantastic with the black leather and sand colour and match well with blue or black jeans – I personally prefer to wear these with skinny jeans and expose the whole shape of the boot, instead of having the jeans covering down to the ankle.
As I mentioned before, these boots are heavy but not ridiculously so (in line with Givenchy’s boots) however they are surprisingly comfortable to wear. Overall these Timberland boots are a good purchase which will undoubtedly last the years while still looking great.
